If you are getting a full-arch replacement or have multiple teeth getting implants, the doctor places more than one post.

For the next few weeks, the post fuses to your jawbone to create a sturdy foundation for restorations. Once fused, Dr. Hardy attaches an abutment to the post, which will hold a dental crown or implant-supported dentures.
